Assembly Debates
Debates are included in the Chamber Business section of the Assembly website.
Webcasting
The National Assembly website has a live webcasting website called senedd.tv. When the Assembly is in session you can watch all of the Assembly’s proceedings as they are streamed live over the Internet. Nothing is webcast live Saturday, Sunday or Monday, although an archive is available.
Full meetings of the Assembly are known as “Plenary sessions” and are held in the Main Chamber of the Assembly Building in Cardiff Bay. They are open to the public and are broadcast on digital channel S4C2. The Assembly usually meets in session twice a week, currently on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
Much important work in the Assembly takes place in committees, an essential part of the Assembly. Committees normally meet in public, although a committee may sometimes go into closed session for a limited period. They usually meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with regional committees being held on a Friday.
