Education

Plaid Cymru in government is committed to ensuring that education brings empowerment. Our programme for government as part of the One Wales agreement involves establishing a right to learning, reforming funding, ensuring the best start for our young people, creating 21st century schools and developing adult learning.

In South Wales West I too am committeed to these goals. I visit schools on a regular basis to talk about my work and to support their development. I also liaise with Further Education Colleges, which is especially important given the changes which will take place in light of the Webb review in to the future of such Colleges. I also visit Higher Education Insititutions in the region to discuss Higher Education funding and student rights and responsibilities.

If you have any issues relating to education in South Wales West, or if you wish for me to visit your school or College then please get in touch.
